1 – Is the Segway Tour Safe?
Absolutely YES. Rome, Florence, Pisa and Milan have dedicated pedestrian areas.
this made the use of the Segway easy and safe, giving the chance to both discover the historical- artistic side but also to enjoy a new and eco sustainable mean of transportation.
The tour is developed on pedestrian areas and bike lanes only, avoiding the cars traffic.
2 – Is better to rent a Segway or go on the tour? If this is your first time in Italy OR in Segway, We suggest you to do the Tour.
3 – Is there an age or weigh limit to ride a Segway?
The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone from 12 up to 70 years of age. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos).
4 – What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy: This payment is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 3 business days or more prior to the scheduled tour. The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train…..) within 3 business days of the scheduled tour. Circumstances of exceptional character: Strikes, cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, war, civil or military strife, riots, natural disasters, sack, terrorist activity: these and similar others, constitute causes of force majored and are not chargeable to the carriers or the Organizer. If due to such causes, the Organizer will not be responsible for any possible extra costs born by the traveler, and will not provide refunds for any services not used or provided. Cancellation or change of reservation could be done only by email at tours@italysegwaytours.com
5 - Do we visit any museum during the tour?
Our tour is a sightseeing visit of the city. We do not enter the museums and monuments
6 – What happen in case of rain?
The tour goes on rain or shine. We provide ponchos to all of our guests.
7 – Are the Segway appropriate for people with disabilities?
Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance and complete use of their left hand.

1- Il Segway Tour e’ un servizio sicuro?
Assolutamente SI. Firenze, Roma, Pisa e Milano hanno un centro storico esteso dedicato ai pedoni: questo rende l’utilizzo del Segway facile e sicuro, dando l’opportunità di unire alla conoscenza dell’aspetto storico artistico, il divertimento di provare un mezzo innovativo e assolutamente eco sostenibile!! Il tour si svolge solo in aree pedonali e piste ciclabili, evitando il caos del traffico.
2 – E’ meglio noleggiare il Segway o effettuare un Tour in Segway?
Se non hai mai usato il Segway suggeriamo di prendere parte al tour .
3- Esiste un limite di peso o di età per condurre il Segway?
Il Segway può essere utilizzato da chiunque tra i 12 e i 70 anni. Il peso non deve essere inferiore ai 45 kg e superiore ai 120kg
4 - Qual è la politica di cancellazione?
Il pagamento è totalmente rimborsabile se la prenotazione viene cancellata entro i 3 giorni precedenti alla data stabilità. Non ci saranno rimborsi per ritardi di treni, aerei, per malattia, o per condizioni climatiche. Circostanze di carattere eccezionale: Scioperi, cancellazioni dovute a condizioni climatiche avverse ( neve, nebbia o forte pioggia), guerre civili, disastri naturali, attività terroristiche, costituiscono cause di forza maggiore non dipendenti dalla nostra volontà. Per tali motivi l’organizzazione non è responsabile in caso di cancellazioni o di spese extra a carico del cliente, e non sarà tenuta a rimborsi per i servizi non offerti.

5 – Si visitano musei o monumenti?
Non sono previsti ingressi a musei e monumenti
6 – cosa accade in caso di pioggia?
Il tour parte anche in caso di pioggia. Forniamo ai nostri clienti degli impermeabili.
7 – I Segway sono adatti ai portatori di handicap?
I clienti devono essere in grado di muoversi in maniera autonoma, senza uso di bastoni, e devono essere in grado di utilizzare le loro mani.
