  • If you rent a car, be sure you are provided with the special permission to pass the TLZ – Traffic Limited Zone, in fact our office is located inside that zone. In case you may not have the permission, you could park your car in the parking area close to Termini train station. In case you have the permission, there is a parking close to us, in Via di Sant`Agata dei Goti 19, a 450 meter walk from the office.


  • If you will arrive from North (Bologna),  we suggest you the PARKING STAZIONE S.M.N. located in Piazza della Stazione. The distance from the parking in Piazza della Stazione to our meeting point in Via dei Cimatori is about 15 minutes walking, for more info please check this link  
  •  If you will arrive from South (Roma),  we suggest you the PARKING BECCARIA located in Piazza Cesare Beccaria. The distance from the parking in Piazza Beccaria to our meeting point in Via dei Cimatori is about 20 minutes walking, for more info please check this lin


  • Yes, there’s many chances to park your car near the meeting point, just note that they are not free parkings. Right near the meeting point you’ll find two underground garages.  Another option is to park on the street in the spaces limited by the blue lines. Tickets can be purchased directly at the parking meter. If you’re coming to Milan by car, please note that the access to the city centre is limited by a Congestion Charge Area. The Congestion Charge is a 5€ daily tax for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. For more information visit the website.


  • Rome Central Station is quite close: you can walk about 25 minutes totally. You should go towards Piazza della Repubblica and take Via Nazionale. At the end of it you will see a traffic circle and a church (Santa Caterina da Siena church): go towards the church and keep walking on that sidewalk going downhill (leave the church on your lefthand side). You will pass by the entrance of Trajan`s market museum (on your lefthand side) and you will face a staircase: go down the stairs and turn onto the first corner on the right. We are 15 meter away from that corner. If you do not want to walk, you will find cabs or buses (170, 64, 40, H) right outside the station.



  • Milan Central Station is not in walking distance, but you can easily reach the meeting point from there using a cab or the public transportation. You’ll find cabs right outside the station, just follow the arrows pointing the parking. As for the public transportation, you can take the subway. Take the MM2 form Milano Centrale to Lanza. The meeting point is just a 5-minute walk from there.  You can buy the tickets at the machines, tobacconists or newsstands. 

Free cancellation up 24 hours before the tour starts. Payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train…..) within 24 hours of the scheduled tour.

No refund will be granted for late arrivals, but we will do our best to accommodate you on another tour or date, pending availability.

The tour goes on rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, we might decide to stop the Segway tour and proceed with a walking tour instead. Guest options on rainy days: (1) Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if Segway are not ridden due to rain, or if the Segway tour is abbreviated due to rain. OR (2) Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to client. The voucher is transferable and may be given to others to use at a future date (max 1 year) OR (3) 50% refund for client cancellation.

It is highly suggested to wear flat footwear that protects your feet and provides good support (NOT high-heeled shoes)

Riders must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail. Riders need to be physically and mentally self-efficient.

Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone between 14 and 70 of age, with a minimum of 145 cm (4,75 ft) of height and over 40 kilos (90 pounds) of weight. Please note that our staff will have the right to decline accepting your child without any obligation to refund you for her/his tickets. Children under 18 years of age cannot take part of our tours alone. They must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. 

Riders must be over 90 pounds (40 kilos) and less than 265 pounds (120 Kilos). Please do not carry large bags whilst on the Segway, but we will offer you the option to leave your luggage in our office. The use of the Segway is NOT recommended for pregnant women. We suggest you to confirm as soon as possible since our tours sell out very quickly. Booking can be considered confirmed ONLY after payment has been completed.

We kindly ask all guests to be in our office at least 5-10 minutes prior to tour departure to complete check-in formalities. Before the tour begins, you will have to provide us with a picture identification along with the confirmation voucher. Be informed that there are no public restrooms in our offices

Our regular segway tour hosts maximum 8 people to guarantee a safe and personal experience. Anyway we would be happy to help big groups and families by accommodating them with 2 or more guides if necessary.

The Segway Tour is a Sightseeing tour, so we do not visit the inside of monuments. The Segway Tour will give you a great orientation and you will know exactly where you want to go after the tour.

Absolutely yes! However, we do recommend that you ask your guide to take your pictures so you can focus on riding and balancing on your Segway.

Segway Tours are really safe; the fun starts with a training session, where each one of our customers, with personal one to one tuition of our staff, will practice riding this XXI century chariot. In addition to this, and just to be extra safe, all riders will be asked to wear a helmet. As an extra bonus, you will all be shown a short safety video which will help all the newbies focus on the safety issues related to segway riding.

No, you do not find facilities at the Rome office, but please come 15 minutes before the tour departure and we will show you the closest restrooms to use before starting with the tour. Please note that during the Segway tours restrooms are not available.

Our regular Segway Tours are in English, everybody at Italy Segway Tours is a professional guide and speaks clear English, but we also offer regular Segway tours in German and we can organize any kind of private tour in French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and more languages thanks to our large team of guides.
